Child Sponsorship

Colorado Film Works now sponsors two children: Frandy in Haiti and Jesus in Mexico.

Why Are We Telling You This?

We went back and forth on this. On the one hand, we don't want to appear to be saying "hire us because we sponsor kids" (I'm sure other photographers/videographers also donate to charities), but on the other hand, we thought maybe we could inspire someone else. It was actually Warren Buffet's staggering donation to the Gates Foundation that inspired us to add a second child to our own sponsorship list. So if we encourage one person or one other company to do the same, then this web page was worth it.

But I Can't Save the World!

Nope, but you can help clothe, immunize, feed, and educate one child. Both of the charities listed below (and there are other very worthy charities as well, of course) are trying to end the cycle of poverty and suffering by educating children so they in turn can help improve their own countries some day.

	Frandy in Haiti We added Frandy this summer (2006). Frandy is sponsored through Save the Children. A staggering 91% of Save the Children's funds go directly to its programs (just 3% to management).
	Jesus in Mexico We've sponsored Jesus for a few years through the Christian Children's Fund. CCF is also a highly regarded charity and received the American Institute of Philanthropy's "A" rating for program quality and fiscal stewardship.

Note: We endorse both of these charities. We do not claim that they, in turn, endorse us as photographers/videographers!
